Dr Seema believes in building self esteem and confidence for her patients. As a parent of 3 sons and having had orthodontic treatment herself as an adult, Dr Seema fully appreciates the power of smiling and the joy it brings when making connections to those around you and the priceless value this adds to your life. She is a passionate orthodontist and that loves making beautiful smiles and building lasting relationships with her patients and their families as they progress through their orthodontic journey. She has a special interest in facial growth and aesthetics, and fully believes in a personalised and bespoke approach to care “No two people are the same, so their care shouldn’t be either”. This is the founding principle on which she built Rise Orthodontics. Dr Seema is a registered Specialist Orthodontist in Australia.

She grew up in the UK and completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2005. She practised in the UK and held positions at some of the busiest London Hospitals and Trauma Centres in the fields of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Restorative dentistry, Paediatric Special care dentistry, and Orthodontics. Dr Manek continued her studies completing a Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons,
England (2007), a Master of Science in Orthodontics at Queen Mary’s & Westfield University (2010) and a Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons (2011). Dr Seema Manek moved to the Gold Coast in 2012 with her Australian husband and has lived and worked in the Gold Coast and surrounding areas, providing Specialist Orthodontic care to families for over 11 years.

When she is not at Rise Orthodontics, you can find Dr Seema chasing after her children, cooking for and feeding anyone who crosses her path and escaping for a jog on the beach. She loves a good book, fashion and exploring the country on hikes. She loves adventure and has scaled the peaks of Patagonia, Mount Kilimanjaro and Everest Base Camp (Although she has plans to reach the summit one day!).
